Penn State was down 21-0 just before the half, they turned it around and score 35 unanswered points, 35-21 over Northwestern.
Paterno is the first coach of a major college to win 400 games.
Penn State is now 6-3 and officially bowl eligible.

I didn't see the game but they sure made a rally in the second half to pull out that win. Congrats to Penn State and Joe Paterno. From 3-3 and being written off to now 6-3 and at least for sure a bowl game.
I watched some highlights and as usual Joe down played the 400th win and talked about more important things to him. Class guy all the way. If he does decide to retire after this year then I'm glad that he is going to leave on a positive note with a winning season.
It will certainly be tough to fill his shoes when he leaves.
