Just saw your post.
Well, not a single survey in my block that was done after 1885. There is new construction that has taken place and some revamps.
Not a single monument in the entire block, I walked it again to make sure. My first walk around was a bit quick.
I do have some C/L ties that actually show distances amd angles to three of four intersections. Those were done in 1978 and 1984. I have not compared these block angles and distances to record yet, been a bit busy, but the angles are looking OK, 90° or close to it.
At least I have *something* to start with but the buildings will be the primary monuments.
