I use NitroPDF as my PDF editing software. I have been very pleased with it. I use it on the laptop and the desktop.
I have Vista on my laptop, and I finally got tired of having to save to a default folder and then moving PDF files into my specific job folders. Vista has some freaky thing with the permissions. I did some research on permissions, and taking ownership of certain folders and programs.
Now the problem has come up that NitroPDF does not work. I try to start the program, and I get the message "NLSSRV32.exe not the current version".
It is very frustrating. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled, to no avail. Has anyone run into anything similar?
Thanks,
Jimmy

Rick,
Thanks. That was the first thing I tried. The service is stopped, and I cannot start it. I am going to have to find out how to delete it.
My laptop has been going downhill ever since I put itunes on it back in January or February. I have to have itunes on it to use the tethering for my laptop.
Thanks,
Jimmy
