America has spoken. The big winner on America's Got Talent is Mississippian, Michael Grimm. He is a very talented singer, reminescent of a young Frank Sinatra.

Number two went to the astounding 10-year old opera singer. Absolutely fabulous, but, probably viewed as being too young for a full-time gig in Vegas.

Fighting Gravity came in third and Weird Willie (Poppycock) was fourth.

I didn't get to watch that finale but I thought the 10 year old took the cake. That's probably a good thing she lost, though, because now she is going probably make WAY more than a million dollars with that voice. :music:

Ho hum, just another Mississippian with musical talents.;-) And give it to the dude, the first thing he did when they announced him as the winner was to lean over and ask the little girl if she was ok. In my book that speaks volumes of the guys upbringing and manners.

My bet is that Poppycock dude/character/thing will either get a record deal through David Bowie or wind up singing in some oyster bar in Ponchatula Louisiana with a "Surveyor groupie".:-P

Had my first sighting of Prince Poppycock on Leno, I found out there was someone else that I will change the channel to absolutely not see.

Whether a dude/dudette, dame, I just don't care, all I see is a DUD.

Shoot, I'd even drive as far away as Bourbon St., New Orleans, LA.
Seems like there are more than a few places that he would "fit right in" down there.
