Interesting article about lithium.

They recently discovered that Afghanistan may have vast untapped amounts of lithium as well. Along with nearly a trillion in other valuable industrial elements.

But of course, we will get nowhere with the Karzai government, will fail on gainfully employing Afghans on developing those resources, and soon enough, the Chinese will be in there reaping them.

Instead of messing with Karzai....maybe they should stick to Bolivia.

What I see as being such a contradiction is that one of the most sought after elements needed for future technology is found in the most undeveloped countries where modern civilization is frowned upon.
