I'm so old I remember using a tape/chain with feet and inches and getting *hit for using my plumb bob as a hammer and making a metal fob with two holes instead of a bloody knot in order to suspend the plumb bob under the instrument that I needed a magnifying glass to read the degrees/mins. & to guess the seconds !

The second page of the EDM portion of the presentation sure was lousy in its clarity of the picture.

Wow how thing change, but stay the same. My parents did that to me when I was a kid. Now, I holler at my kids to find the remote.
