Time for a good cleaning and I bought a new belt for it, the instructions are for the lower half of the machine, nothing about how to remove the scanner, and fax unit on top. Anyone know where or have those instructions, did look on the net, did not find what I need, hoping someone has already done this and can save me some search time.

When the belt on my R80 started to loose the little ribs several years ago I got some info from somewhere that gave instructions how to do the replacement. It is a compicated process and should not be attempted by a novice. I took my unit into a local printer repair shop and had them do it.

The R80 is one heck of a machine and is really a workhorse. I've had mine since October of 1999 and the belt issue is the only thing I have had to do on it.
