Google Reader replacement: update?

just wondering what people are using now.

I use Thunderbird for most email and the Bamboo Feed Reader has become my favorite.

I found a small learning curve in adding new feeds but have gotten over that hump:

click on the rss icon and it brings up the dialog to add it to your reader... stop there and copy the URL in your address bar (it is something like this: http://beerleg.com/index.php?mode=rss&thread=202992 )
then, in the Bamboo tab in Thunderbird select +add and paste it there. simple and easy.
