I spent last Thursday through Sunday in Phoenix with members of the 452nd Bomb Group who flew in the B-17 against Germany during WWII. We had 26 guys attend the reunion this year, so it was well attended. I made a couple of prints and had all the guys sign them. Good stuff!
They are at Falcon Field in front of "Sentimental Journey" in the photo below. (Not all the guys could travel to the museum).
Awesome! :good:
Very, very cool J.
Flying Fortress heroes indeed!
 I wanna hug all of them!!
PS: That plane is beautiful! They must have restored it????
Very cool as Deral said.
I had a few "old timers" like them visit our booth the other day.
I also met a few "current timer" Marines and a few Army Rangers. I got no idea where the Marines came from. There isn't a camp anywhere nearby that I know of. I do know there is a Ranger training camp a couple hours away.
It is a treasure to listen to their stories.
You are doing awesome to keep their stories alive and well Mr. Penry!!
