Home about 8PM and glad to be back on this side of the Cascades, Two cuts on each eye, one in the eyelid itself and it is feeling a little gritty, the other about an inch and a half each over and outside of the eye, they are swollen, pulling and kind of sore. All went well and my eye has that Oriental look that I am told will change. Ointment is the only medication, but I think I will be tacking some Tylenol soon. Sight is a bit blurry but not as bad as expected. Doing well and plan on working through the day. Compared to what others have gone through, this is minor and thanks for all of the well wishes and hummer.

Yeah, i'll let someone else provide the hummer...

As for humor (sorry for this, I can preface this with the fact that I was born a blonde):

A blind guy walks into a bar, sits at the bar and orders a beer.
He asks the bartender, "Would you like to hear a good blonde joke?"
A hush fills the air as the bar becomes silent.
He turns to his left, "Would you like to hear a good blonde joke?"
The bartender interrupts, "Sir, I understand you are blind, but you happened to walk into a lesbian bar. More than half the women in here are blonde, including myself. Also, I am a weight lifter and could crush your head with ease. So I have to ask you, do you really want to tell us this joke?"
The blind man replies, "No, I guess you are right, I would not want to have to explain it that many times."

Good luck with recovery.

Angel, I am doing much better, I was supposed to keep ointment on the incisions and I must have been allergenic to it. The area was swelling up, vision was getting to the point where it was a struggle to see. After a little thinking about what was happening, I chose to try washing the ointment off and see what would happen. Most of the non wound related swelling is gone, the eyes are no longer weeping and the dark red from my reaction to the ointment has receded. Can even see the screen without 2 minutes of blinking. A few more random twinges but the ointment is going to stay in the tube. Thanks for asking.
