Remember my post last night about toys and how the Vertibird was one of favorites of all time.
I was walking over to my neighbor's across the street just as the mailman was coming down his side of the street and asked where I lived. I pointed back saying "over there". He asked my number - 4251. Mr. White? Yep, that's me. He had a package for me that he forgot on his way up my side of the street. It was a box from my Dad.
Under the piece of paper saying to "pardon the lack of giftwrap! Hope you enjoy!" was a pair of jeans which I need.
Under that was an ExecuHeli wireless, remote control, indoor toy helicopter.
I immediately looked to see what batts it needed then headed back to the neighbor's. We headed out to cash a little check I had, swung by a liquor store then WalMart for the needed batteries. I got the thing all hooked up and operable. Golly mercy - was he reading my mind about missing my Vertibird!!!??? I wish I had a digi cam to post a pic.
Once I figure out how to fly it - well - I'm sure to pester the hell out these cats!!! 😀 It is a big more sensitive and difficult to fly than the old Vertibird that's for sure!! This thing has left & right trim controls needed to keep it from spinning wildly - that was new.

PS: I also got my usual 2 cans of roasted cashews which is a standard for me since I was about 14 or 15. I'm not totally certain has that tradition got thrown on me but that's fine. I love roasted cashews.
Merry Christmas, E.
It sounds like a fun toy! I've always wanted to get one of those remote control ones I saw in the mall to play with.
E, you know you are what you eat right?? So...you're basically a nut now. But we already knew that. 😉 A good nut, though. 😀
YEA! Wait till one of them cats jump up and snag that bird out of the sky! LOL!
Have FUN!
