Well, as you know, my horns have had a rough year.

It was a heck of a ride for the last 5 years and I am sure there will be plenty
of more coming in the future, but we just do not have that one or two special kids that a team needs to be on top right now.

This year just confirmed my belief that you can not just replace kids that have the "mojo" when it comes to playing big time college ball.

The Auburn-Alabama game was just spectacular and if I had a vote, that Newton kid would get it. No matter what his dumbass Dad is accused of.

Boise has had a good ride, but their bad day was in the cards and I am sure LPL is grinning ear to ear right now.

Tonight is the game I am looking forward to. Go Pokes!!!

Those Oregon Ducks are a lot of fun to watch, they are a runaway train heading to the NCG.

TCU is the best team in Texas, but they need someone else to pull an upset or 2 to push them into the top 2.

I am on the playoff bandwagon more than ever.

Again, Go Pokes!!!

Randy

Now imagine living here in Oregon with all of this going on. It sure gives a wonderful positive energy to our state! People seem to be more "happier" when the Ducks or Beavers are doing well. Same with the Trailblazers. Woohoo!!! :hi5: :good:

Thanks Randy but my Pokes came up a little short last night. But at 10-2 then we should still get a pretty good bowl game this year.

Texas just really surprised me this year but maybe it's like you say and they just didn't have the spark of one really solid leader to make them jell this year. I can't remember a time when the team playing for the NC one year failed to even become bowl eligible the next. Just watching it seemed that Coach Brown just never really had a handle on the the team all year. Lot's of talent but no real identity or whatever it is that makes a team a team.

The OU vs Nebraska game will bring back a lot of memories from many years gone past. I think it will be a good matchup and only fitting since they did not meet in the regular season this year.
