It takes quite some time for it to heal.
One of my neighbors a few years ago got a bad bite on his leg while gardening. It took about 6 weeks to heal and he has a nice crater scar about the size of a half dollar on his leg now.
I only have had one encounter with one many years ago in an old house in the Ozarks.
Luckily, I saw him before he got into me.
We live in an old house here and the possibility does make me wary.
I was once bit by a Black Widow, that was nothing compared to this bite.
I've killed at least 10 of those MOFOs since we moved in our old house three years ago. They are everywhere, but no where. My greatest fear is being bitten in the bed at night while asleep. They're fast as hell, and ugly to top a tee. I'm basically a STO, service to others, type puke and see some merit in all life, but those SOBs are gonna die everytime I see one. At least black widows stay in the water meter box as a rule.

That's how I got hit Ed, while falling asleep. The lil bastard crawled up my leg and got me on the hip.
How about bug bombing your place?

Wish I could, Paul, but we have these NINE insiside cats. Can't be let outside. A lesser man would have already eat a bullet. Remember Al in Married With Children?
Just think "cats". I'm doomed. I know.
Take care,
Ed
I may get a cat..or a small dog
:cat: :dog:
Go for it, fella. I'm burn't out on all of it.
Take care,
Ed
