TCU 36 BSU 35

Nebraska 17 Penn State 14

Before the game all the footbal players from both teams intermingled at midfield for a prayer for the victim.

I missed both games as today was the last day of archery deer season. I did not see a deer during shooting hours, but it was a beautiful day to be outside.

OSU 66 Texas Tech 6

So now do you believe that our defense is pretty good? Leading nation in turnovers and have shut down both Baylor and TT offenses. Two more games and I think we win them both.

I know why you didn't see any deer, two of them were in my back yard raiding the bird feeders at 5 am yesterday. At 6:45 I was on my way to help a friend field dress one while the state trooper wrote up the accident report, gave him a ham as he was getting off duty and headed home after he finished with us. The truck is drivable, but just barely. Of course, he was headed to the hunting club for a dog drive, and his dogs were loosing their minds the whole time we were dressing it out.

We saw 6 in one field on the 1 Mile drive to my son's house

He says they are just too well trained and sleep all day every day in the back yards of the subdivisions and only hit the fields and woods at night. Come rifle season the huntable area is cut in half due to safety zones and some areas become too crazy with flying bullets.

Then we hit the big woods. We would hunt this area again after Christmas in flintlock/archery but this zone has extended rifle season, so we will stay away, except maybe in the middle of the week.
