I liked it when they came with a sad page long story about some poor soul who was killed before they could enjoy their wealth. Or the poor old lady who was on her deathbed and wanted to find someone to use her money for good christian purposes. Or even the crooked accountant at the bank who needed help getting the money out of the country and was willing to cut me in for a share. What's with the scammers these days? Are they just getting lazy?

I would register for your tour but I'm a little apprehensive about those "special stops" on the way home.
Or how about:
"Look, you're so gullible, that I could give you some absolutely ridiculous story and you would eventually give me your life savings which would take me having to send you multiple emails to rope you in. So how about you just send me all your life savings and let's drop all that formality and in-between crap."
