(In a horrible vocal imitation of Bill Clinton) I.....did not.....set corners.....in that state.

That's a good thing as I'm not licensed in Tennessee.

It is a violation of board rule 0820-03-.07-h-(1-6) so the board should start action if a complaint is filed. If they will is another question all together.

@bstrand

I am preparing a quote for surveying a large shopping complex.  The client "wants to give me the work, but it looks like my fee for setting missing corners is making my fee noncompetitive" - because one of their other respondents says it isn't necessary.  Was thinking if I could educate them while embarrassing the competition would be a win-win.

Question.?ÿ The actual setting of the monuments should be a very minimal extra expense compared to determining the true location of the corner in the first place.?ÿ Why such a change in the fee to do the job?

Is this due to a required filing fee and outrageous review fee?

@michael-geiger

That sequence dictates what the monument should be, if set. It doesn't dictate that one need be set at all.
