USGS Quad Maps question
We are submitting FAA permits for our highmast lightpoles on the project (50 total) and I have been tasked with plotting each poles location on separate USGS quad maps. I have done this before, but only once for the same type of permit but it was for one single crane. I plotted it on the map in bluebeam with a sticky note that had the required location data on it. Because of the quantity and timeframe on these I was hoping maybe one of you sage gentlemen might know of a better more efficient way? I have TBC-HCE , Microstation/InRoads SS4, googlearth pro and an earthpoint account. Thanks for any advice or direction.

I can think of several ways to do this.
Quickest maybe to use Terrain Navigator Pro or
you can use MicroStation with Quads downloaded from net. -

you can use MicroStation with Quads downloaded from net.I figured out a way to do it in TBC. I geo-referenced in the quads and put my points. I have to do each one on a separate quad so I will still do it in bluebeam, but now I wont have to scale in the lats and longs. Thanks

Microstation w/InRoads can calc the Lat/Lon and SPC coordinates if your set the Geographic parameters.

If this is for a 7460 form on-line submittal, your are required to fill in the lat/long and then it will generate the position on a quadmap for you. You will need to confirm the location is correct, but you can also save the image if necessary. Typically, if its for a 7460, you just need a centralized location and in the comments you can describe the work area. It’s worth noting that if the highmast were of any concern they would require a A1 certification letter along with the 7460.
