Just wanted to say thanks for the list of study references and list of places to stay/eat. I am sorry I didn’t get to touch base with you guys while I was in Little Rock but I drove the 12 hours out there on Thursday, tested Friday morning from 8:15 to 10:15 then turned right around and drove the 12 hours back home.
Mr. Steve Haralson spoke very highly of each of you gentlemen. He said both of you were very respected throughout the state. Thanks again for your assistance.

I hope your test went well. Many surveyors struggle with that test.
It was a challenging exam. It took me 1:57 of the 2:00 allotted to complete it. Without the classes covering the PLSS comps and procedures, I would’ve had no chance. I feel pretty good about it though. Dr Elgin’s/Dr Knowles’ book was a big help also.

They are both know FAR beyond the limits of any state boundary. I would say that statement is true for a minimum area of the Southeast United States. There may even be some Yankees that know of them, but I don’t think they would fess up to that fact. You have to have standards, you know. 😉
