Static GPS, with prism for resection.
We like to use long occupation static GPS in a number of positions on our sites, inspired by one of the other users here that posted a 360 prism underneath a GPS antenna, expanding on that concept, we’ve installed a nodal 62mm single prism using a Topcon single prism holder, reinforced it with 3″ stainless steel exhaust tube and Devcon stainless steel putty. Now we can capture a lot more TS observations of static GPS locations without interrupting GPS observations.

Looks like a cumbersome solar panel…and it’s not even in the sun anymore!

We have a air transport case for three, it’s setup at the beginning of the job and packed up at the end, we use them for recharging equipment batteries as well. The LiFePo batteries are dangerous goods, transport is more painful for them, but they have plenty of power in case of inclement weather.

Never heard of that kind of battery, try equipment brand batteries
