Scanning invoices, etc.
I’ve persuaded my wife to go paperless, and it has been a disaster. We have essentially the same hardware and software but what is easy and simple in my office is horrid in her office and we have no idea why, other than her HP scan software is way too complicated and mine is simple . She scans an invoice, then the client’s check, and tells it to save as a pdf with a simple name. Always, something somewhere adds 0001 to the file name. I don’t know if HP is doing that, or Adobe, or Windows 10, but something sure is. Any ideas, anyone?
