RETIRED SELLING EQUIPMENT
Posted by retired69 on March 15, 2012 at 10:21 pmI have 3 Promark 2’s for sale along with crain 2-meter rods and a Topcon 2005.
I was thinking $600 each for the PM2’s and $1200 for the Topcon 2005.
I have other things and might post them when I get an inventory.
Stuff just won’t fit on a sailboat . . .
Thanks

That 2005. IS it reflectorless?
N
I’ll take that 2005. Email me when you get a chance to arrange the details.
Happiness on your big adventure.
Funny, I was just thinking the other day, what ever happened to John Francis.
Have room for a second mate?
Make sure you listen at the 1:15 mark
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxecx4oRsEII saw some ‘ancient’ Locus’s on ebay the otherday and they were going for big bucks.
I think the deal with 3 was in mid $2000’s when I looked.
I assume they were legit.
Also were 2 and they were going quite strong.
I’m not one for screwing out the last drop but are the Promarks too cheap?
3 are far better than 2 and that’s worth something alone.
my 2 bobs worth from DownunderPlease pm me re: pro mark 2
ThanksI will take the Promarks.

I’d say that’s him. Not sure why he hasn’t responded.
What part of SE Ohio do you work in? My dad was a PE and a PS in Marietta until 1978. Worked for Hope Gas.
worked in most of se ohio, hocking county was my home county. washington county is a nice place, alot of history. your family still there?
He probably turned off all phones, laptops, etc while on his sailboat.
That’s what I would do.

No sir. Very small family. I was born in Marietta in ’68, moved to Bridgeport, WV in ’78 when dad got transferred. Dad retired in ’88 and we moved to Christiansburg, VA near where he grew up (Shawsville). I always loved Marietta, we lived out in Devola, not too far from the Locks. Dad used to tell me some horror stories about surveying around there (moonlighting). Ted Shushka was a pal of Dad’s.

“stand by to set the stun’s’ls!”
ok, well like i said i always liked that area. it is very rich in surveying history, you ever get the chance they have a museum there that has alot of surveying history in it pertaining to the opening of the northwest territory. the seven rages ect. you know that was the first attemt for the government to subdivide lands.
Not for a person who’s name begins with “SIR”
Yes Steve . . .
I’ve got other fish to fry and the business is slow enough that retiring will actually be better.
Sorry about George. Mike told me he’d been sick . . . I wish’d I’d known.
George was the person who first introduced me to surveying at Hocking Tech. I’m forever grateful for that and not many days have gone by . . . for a long time now, that I didn’t think of George in a fond way.
