Real time monitoring
Hi, i have a monitoring job coming up where i need to check constantly the position of sheet pile wall while a massive 45 ton construction drill is drilling a few meters away some concrete piles about 20m long.
The client would want to check constant when drilling and pulling after concrete filling. I use a Sokkia Robot with Magnet field which has a monitoring app.
Is there a possibility that a warning were to be given when the dx, dy and dz changes more then a tolerance value given at the start. I wouldn’t want to check every time in the fieldbook as all is very noisy, busy and dangerous on site.
Or do other monitoring apps exist which can be run on a Sokkia kit?

Topcon has specific automated monitoring solutions called Delta Watch. This includes software, total stations and controllers. I believe the monitoring routine in Magnet is a semi automated process ie. set up TS and then it will run through a points list automatically. The Delta Watch system it pretty much hands off once installed.
