It’s going to rain on the project this week but I need to make progress anyway. I think it’s going to rain through June. I’ve seen this Spring pattern before here in Northern California and it usually doesn’t break until early June. The upside is everything is green instead of dead like it was through December. We are having one of those years where the wet season gets shifted two months into Spring.
I said to Bonnie, “I need a rain coat.”
So she goes to the broom closet and pulls out a men’s extra large Land’s End hooded raincoat that fits me perfectly. She said, “I got this at a thrift store.” I swear it looks like new. It has a lightweight half wool liner so hopefully it isn’t too warm but I think it’ll be OK because the temps will be in the mid-50s.
Yeah yeah I know Oregon and Washington surveyors work in the rain routinely; I’ve heard the stories about Rite-n-Rain pages sticking together it rains so much. We avoid it if we can but I’m not going to sit in the office for 2 months because of some spring rainfall.
