Panasonic FZ-M1 bluetooth windows 10 driver
Posted by george-marghetici on July 14, 2024 at 6:50 amI have a Panasonic FZ-M1 F (mk2) Windows 10 pro, paired with Parani SD1000 on total station.
With the internal bluetooth module, range is about 15 m.
I made windows updates, change bluetooth drivers, with no luck.
What could I do to achieve a better range with the internal bluetooth, assuming that is a Class 1 device.
Thank you !

You’ll need to pair the SD1000 on the total station with either another SD1000 with a serial to usb converter, or use a SD1000U (built in USB and dip switches) or UD100 (USB but has software driver must pay to use or low data limit) Search Ebay for good deals. get longer antennas for longer range. Can get the thicker longer battery power for the SD1000 too.
Yes, extra dongle crap, but it is what it is.
Not sure about your tablet, but it may or may not have built in long range bluetooth???? Maybe Leica bluetooth radio handle if Leica and compatible equipment???

Can anyone comment on the range of the bluetooth for the FZ - M1? Has it got a long range option or do you need an external bluetooth for adequate comms back to

I want to use internal bluetooth module of tablet, instead of Parani SD1000 (with serial/usb adapter), because it is quicker and get ridd of a cable.
As I understand, the problem is the driver for the internal bluetooth of Panasonic FZ-M1. My question is what driver to use for Windows 10 Pro 64 bit ver 22H2.
As I read, for Windows 8.1, a driver replacement solved the problem (leegreen solution), maybe this is the solution for win 10.
Please help with the proper driver.
Thank you.

Don’t know. Either keep reading/researching or just try installing the driver that matches your OS / tablet and see of works. Can always uninstall/remove driver if no success and go from there.
Seems sshould be others here with that tablet setup.
GOOD LUCK!
