OPUS
Posted by c-man on July 13, 2019 at 3:17 amWhen uploading my dual-frequency GPS observation (data file) at the OPUS website I get the following Software error:
Month ‘-1’ out of range 0..11 at /home/Lib_GPS/lib/RINEX/Parse.pm line 205
What could be wrong with my rinex file?

Can you open your Rinex file with an editor and post here the header and first few lines of data? That would allow a much better guess as to the problem.

I got the same thing!!!
Collected yesterday PM, submitted 2 hrs ago.6012 OPUS-RS is not able to findsolution for your data set.
6012 OPUS-RS has stopped with the following message(s) in RSGPS
6012 network solution:
STOP(rdrnx): error reading rinex file: /var/tmp/opus_local/RS75/19193/pool/pass1930.19o -
I had the same rdrnx error on station York. So I excluded York. Then the error was paco.
Then rdrnx error on station pass.
So it??s appears to be an opus problem.

I submitted 2 rinex files, one right the other. One from 10 Jul and one from 12 Jul. The 10 Jul returned just fine. The rdrnx error doesn??t indicate that my file is unreadable.
-
I checked my rinex file. Nearly identical to another to a file from 2 day??s earlier.
have you ever seen Rdrnx errors indicating the process stopped on the cors file, not the user file?
-
Here is my file. Looks pretty normal. I’d appreciate it if you see anything glaring. I checked the ecef coord and it’s accruate. the successful file from just 2 prior only a mile away, returned 9 cors sites used. I was surprised the error read stopped on the first cors file.

I just submitted a session and note that the bar graph shows that about 48 out of 76 (estimated) OPUS-RS runs today are in the red meaning failed. OPUS-S looks good.

I don’t know if it is significant, but it looks pretty strange to see your header line with 13 leap seconds. I think we’re at 18.

OPUS-RS gives me essentially the same error o Larry’s file with either 13 or 18 leap seconds.

*** Start of Kinematic Data *** COMMENT -
8 AM today, 14-Jul, I re-sent the gps data to opus and it returned just fine.
So, it probably was a temporary thing. You should try sending your original file again.
And the rapid static fail rate this morning was 25%. There might be a batch of corrupt files.

Can I tell my OPUS Error Message joke again, or is it totally worn out?
???
