Leica TCRP 1205+ radio
Posted by FLS on January 11, 2016 at 1:32 pmWhat is the best radio setting between a TCRP 1205+ and an Allegro MX?
Thank you

Not sure what you mean by “setting,” but long-range Bluetooth (e.g. Parani SD1000) works well at both ends.

This unit isn’t long range Bluetooth, it is using the radio handle. Trying to find the correct listed radio for this combo. The one we are using has to constantly connect and it keeps on showing the baud rates etc.

The Leica Radio Modem Troubleshooting paper from Juniper Systems (makers of the Allegro) might be useful.

Assuming that you are using Carlson on the Data Collector…
Choose “Leica Remote Control” under the Comms Tab, Port 3, Baud Rate 19200.
You may need to install RMTool, you can get this from the Knowledge Base on Carlson’s website to program the internal radio on the Allegro. You will install, then connect using Port 3, TPS1200 to RH1200 Radiohandle.
Make sure these settings match the settings in the instrument.
