The relase notes from leica smartworx v9.01:
Support of RH17 and TCPS30:
Additional Long Range Bluetooth device RH17 and TCPS30, which will bereleased in early 2015, are supported
Release notes v9.03;
General Firmware Improvement and Bug Fixes for TPS instruments:
RH16/17 and TCPS30: when formatting system ram sometimes a wrong default baud rate was set.
So i think it will work

Yes the RH17 will work with version 9.03
We have a 1205+ TCRP working with a RH17 and a CS20 running Captivate. To be honest there is not much difference between the 1205+ and a TS16 when used with the CS20, although the TS16 has better prism lock due to ATRplus. We use both without issue.
We did have an initial issue with running through the connection app on the CS20, with the RH17 handle number not showing correctly, but resetting the RAM on the 1205 sorted that out.

Glad to hear you can run the RH17 and 1205 on Leica data collectors. Do you need Geocomm license (and are they available) to run on same pair on other data collectors?
