Iowa Specific Exam
Ok I am on my last try for my Iowa Exam. Does anyone have any good advice other than study more? I am currently licensed in multiple states and I am having a very tough time with this exam. I am also currently going through the CFED 20 week course. I am having a tough time with this exam. I have the Laws and Administrative rules relating to Land Surveying in the State of Iowa by SLSI and the Original Instructions Governing Public Land Surveys of Iowa by Dodds. I think there is something that I am missing reguarding this exam. Can anyone help me?

I passed it the first time, but missed several questions in regards to the different places to research certain items. It seemed like there was 3 or 4 questions on what specific place to research things, like maybe the county highway dept. for ROW info, that kind of thing.
I also remember a couple of questions with specific info from the Iowa code. The questions seemed kind of silly since it was info you could look up at any time. I remember one question that asked if you were disciplined by the state, you could lose you license for X number of days. I’m not sure how a person can study for that type of question except my memorizing all the info you can from the Iowa code.
It seemed like with my test results, they gave me the specific areas of the code that I missed questions on. I don’t know if they give you that info when you fail the test? If so go back on your old test results and see what items you need to study for.
