IntelliCad V7.1
Posted by dkeithkilby on January 18, 2012 at 8:06 pmIs there a way in IntelliCad to create complex line types other that using the symbol/wingding fonts? I am wanting to create a line type for a power line using a standard lighting/electric pattern and can not find what I am looking for under these fonts.

There was a [msg=117282]discussion on this topic[/msg] a few days ago. See if they will provide you with some pointers.

I didn’t see the thread: THANKS!
Second question: Can you make shape files in intellicad? -
I just checked on ver 6.6 and the MKLTYPE command is not recognized.
That’s the autocad command I would use.

I did some checking and found out that IntelliCAD can use shape files if they exist but does not currently offer an interface to create shape files.
I did, however, dispatch a feature request into the Development Director of the IntelliCAD Technology Consortium and he said he’d “spec it out” to see what can be developed.

Sounds good. I have been playing around with an older version of ACAD making some shp/shx files today and Intellicad was able to load & use them.
