Inddor inspections with UAV
Posted by johnymal on February 17, 2023 at 11:40 amDoes anyone know where to find a cage like this for the phantom 4 drone? Interesting for indoor inspections.

That appears to be the new Elios 3. It comes with that cage attached. As I understand it, you can’t add a cage to just any drone. It can change the flight characteristics. The other issue you may have while using the P4 for indoor inspection is lighting. Most indoor inspection drones, like the one you show in the photo, have lighting added. I have a Lumicopter which is nothing more than a DJI FPV that is modified (by Lumicopter) to add the cage and oblique lighting, and some programming modifications. The cost is a little easier to swallow at around $7k, compared to the Elios 2 at around $42k.
