Carlson Quick Profile with Pipe Crossings
I’m plotting profiles along a surface model with pipe crossings. I have a 3Dpoly that represents top of pipe. I can get it to draw the pipe at the correct size and elevation on the grid, and it labels the pipe name and size with a leader to the top of pipe, but the elevation label is the bottom of pipe value. Tech support says they don’t think it’s supposed to be able to label top of pipe, but if that were true the leader would be drawn to the bottom of pipe. Anyone else have this happen and a solution?

Well, there’s a lot more problems in this command than I realized. Now it plots more than one pipe at places where there are no pipes, but not the one pipe that is there. Use with caution.

If you’d be willing to send me an example of the DWG (and TINs) that you’re using, I’ll be happy to take a look as my time this week permits. For pipes that are plotting where you don’t expect any to plot, might this be the result of having layers turned off (as opposed to frozen)?
