Best Post Processing software today?
- I am curious to what other surveyors our there are using for the latest and greatest post processing software. We are looking to be able to process data from all the current available constellations.GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/BEIDOU

Sometimes the best for you is what you are familiar with. You do not indicate what receivers you are currently using.
Your first consideration is can your receiver manufacturers software do the job? Look for other’s using similar receivers.
Your next consideration is if you are mixing receivers, can the software import the different files easily? Even just one different receiver can make you different from anyone else. Also is the software comfortable with other antenna files?
Third consideration, since you are using multi GNSS, I assume you will concentrate on self processing. Are your local CORS predominantly of one brand? What software is happy with those files?
If you want more detailed information, share more of your details, equipment and more specifically how you use it. I would surmise a good number of surveyors out there, use their GPS/GNSS in only one format that gets their jobs done and don’t care about the software’s other abilities.

Best to stay with your vendor’s specific software to be most compatible with new hardware. So based upon your other post, I recommend Topcon Magnet Tools v5.x. This replaced Topcon Tools about 5 years ago. You may have a difficult time finding new hardware antenna offsets in outdated software.

Another consideration is reporting capability. If you regularly need to generate a certain kind of report but your software doesn’t offer that option, that can be a significant drawback. (I learned this the hard way.)

GrafNav gets pretty high marks https://www.novatel.com/products/software/grafnav-static-and-grafnet/
That being said, if you’re just doing workaday surveying with one brand of receiver–stick with that vendor’s software.

I personally like OPUS when they’re not dinking with the site. I’ve been told a position doesn’t get any better.

If you have a single brand of receiver from a manufacturer that also provides the post-processing software, I certainly agree that it would be the preferred option to go proprietary. If you’re mixing and matching and looking for something that can play well with a variety of data formats; have a look at https://www.effigis.com/en/ezsurv/ Although I now use proprietary software, I did find it intuitive and easy to use when I tried it a year or two ago.
