I have 2, I won one last week in a raffle and don’t need 2.
Send me an email if you are interested: douglas at casementls.com.
Thank you,

At our assc. convention they gave away 4 or 5 of them for door prizes. My favorite quote came from a guy behind me as they called someone’s name for winning it, “hey he still hasn’t bought the ’73 manual yet, I knew i should’ve waited.”
It made me laugh pretty good.
sent ya an email, Doug…
Years ago Bob Dahl came to our survey conference to do a review for the then ‘start of the new manual’ and he gave a signed copy of the 1973 manual out for one of our raffle items. It said “To the Olkahoma Society of Land Surveyors”. I didn’t notice the spelling at the time or I might have bid on the book just for oddity reasons.
Not dissing Bob, as even I spell our state wrong now and again.

I won one as the door prize last summer at a Dennis Mouland Seminar. I remarked that: “I had already purchased one and that now I had two!” Later in the afternoon the BLM person there, asked if I would let them draw for it again. Told him, “Sure, if I could trade it for Jim Simpson’s Book, River & Lake Boundaries. So that worked out good for an addition to my library.
It’s pretty nice format, but the pages are glossy and when I read it in the office there’s glare on every single page, which results in my eyes being destroyed and headaches within 40 seconds of reading. I wish it came out on the old style paper.
I’m still waiting for the digital version that BLM promised over a year ago. They said that they had to fix the “errata”. Maybe that is what is taking so long, especially if Dahl has trouble spelling Oklahoma!

I suspect that what is holding up a pdf is that money is being made selling hard copies. When the printed books are sold off a pdf will appear.
The 2009 manual is quite a load. I wish they would print it on lighter, higher quality paper. I have some old textbooks, such as a 2nd edition of Clark, from the 1920’s which are still in great shape.
I’m sure you recognize the bottom two books, the top book is the 1902 Manual.
